Membership in HLA-LA
Chapter is always free. All of our meetings are captioned
and since we feel that this is essential, most of our
funds go to cover this expense.
In addition, we are actively seeking support and donations
to aid in our efforts to reach others with hearing loss
who might not be aware of the wealth of services and resources
open and available to them
Ways you can contribute: - Donate: Money or items for our fundraising
events and garage sales. - Advertise: In our newsletters and on
our website. - Help us locate sponsors. - Support: Attend our events, share your
time and expertise. - Purchase: Items from our "store"

HLA-LA store goes to support our non-profit
organization. Your purchases will help provide
for real-time captioning at all events, as well

In 2007, our Wine tasting fundrasing and auction was
a huge success.
Our "Taste of the
Good Life" first fundraiser and auction sale was
held at the Holly Street Bar & Grill in Pasadena,
CA. More than 80 people attended and the auction raised
$9633!
